Managed Hosting

What’s included in managed hosting?
Daily automatic backups, WordPress core and plugin updates, security monitoring and firewall protection, performance optimization and caching, 24/7 uptime monitoring, free SSL certificates, and direct support when you need it. Your infrastructure is provisioned specifically for your needs and managed completely by our team.
What’s a dedicated VPS and why does it matter?
A virtual private server (VPS) gives you dedicated computing resources that aren’t shared with other sites. Most hosting companies pack hundreds of sites onto shared servers to maximize profit. This creates performance competition, security risks from neighboring sites, and resource constraints. With dedicated VPS infrastructure, your site gets the resources it needs and isn’t affected by other sites.
What happens if my site goes down?
We monitor your site 24/7 and respond immediately to any issues. When something breaks, we fix it. Your success matters to us because we’re invested in this community. You’re not a ticket number.
Can I manage my own WordPress updates?
We handle core WordPress and plugin updates as part of our managed service to ensure compatibility and security. If you prefer to manage updates yourself, we can discuss adjusting the service level, but we recommend letting us handle it to prevent conflicts and security vulnerabilities.
What if I outgrow my current hosting plan?
We’ll work with you to upgrade your infrastructure. Since each client has dedicated resources, scaling up is straightforward. We’ll discuss your needs and provision additional resources as required.
Do you offer month-to-month plans?
Our hosting plans are billed monthly. We don’t lock you into long-term contracts. If you’re not satisfied with our service, you can leave. We earn your business every month.

WordPress Design

How long does it take to build a website?
Timeline depends on project scope and complexity. A straightforward site typically takes 4-6 weeks from kickoff to launch. More complex sites with custom functionality take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during our initial conversation and keep you updated throughout the process.
Do you use templates?

We build every site custom using YOOtheme Pro, a professional development framework that gives us complete design control without bloated code. Each client receives a YOOtheme Pro license at no additional cost as long as you’re hosting with us.

Why YOOtheme? It’s fast, clean, and highly customizable. Unlike drag-and-drop page builders that add unnecessary code and slow down sites, YOOtheme generates lean, optimized code that loads quickly and performs well. We’re not dropping your content into a generic template. We’re building a custom design tailored specifically to your organization using professional-grade tools.

The result: a site that looks unique, loads fast, and is easy for you to manage. And because YOOtheme is included with your hosting, you get ongoing access to updates and improvements without additional licensing fees.

Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. We build sites that you can manage without technical expertise. We provide training on how to update content, add pages, upload images, and handle basic site management. And we’re available when you need help.
What if I need changes after the site launches?
We’re available for ongoing support and updates. Minor content changes are usually handled quickly. Larger changes or new functionality can be scoped as separate projects. We don’t disappear after launch.
Do you provide hosting for sites you design?
We strongly recommend hosting sites we build on our managed infrastructure. This ensures optimal performance, proper security configuration, and seamless integration between design and hosting. If you choose to host elsewhere, we can’t guarantee the same level of performance or support.
Can you redesign my existing site?

Yes. We can redesign your current site while preserving your content and improving functionality. We’ll analyze what’s working, what’s not, and build something better.

Domain Management

Should I register my domain through you or somewhere else?
We recommend registering and managing domains through us if we’re also handling your hosting. This ensures everything is configured correctly and works together seamlessly. DNS records, nameservers, email authentication, and SSL certificates all need to coordinate properly.
What if I already own my domain?
We can manage domains registered elsewhere. We’ll coordinate the transfer or simply manage the DNS configuration while you maintain ownership with your current registrar. Either approach works.
How much does domain registration cost?
Domain registration pricing varies by extension (.com, .org, .net, etc.). We’ll provide exact pricing when you’re ready to register. We don’t mark up registration fees significantly. Our value is in proper configuration and management, not inflating domain costs.
What happens if my domain expires?
We monitor domain expiration dates and handle renewals proactively. You’ll never wake up to find your site offline because a domain expired. We manage this so you don’t have to think about it.
Can you help transfer my domain from another provider?
Yes. Domain transfers can be technical and time-consuming. We handle the entire process: unlocking the domain, obtaining transfer codes, coordinating the transfer, and updating all DNS settings. Your site stays online throughout the process.

SSL & Security

What’s an SSL certificate and why do I need one?
An SSL certificate enables HTTPS encryption for your site. Browsers warn visitors about sites without HTTPS, search engines rank them lower, and customers don’t trust them. SSL certificates aren’t optional anymore. We include free SSL certificates with all hosting plans.
Do SSL certificates expire?
Yes, but we handle renewal automatically. You’ll never have an expired certificate take your site offline. We monitor expiration dates and renew certificates before they expire.
What security measures do you implement?
Firewall configuration and monitoring, security scanning and threat detection, login security and access protection, regular security updates, and vulnerability patching. We monitor your site for security issues, update vulnerable software, and block threats before they become problems.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We’ll address it immediately. We’ll identify the vulnerability, remove malicious code, restore clean backups if necessary, and implement additional security measures to prevent recurrence. Security incidents are handled as top priority.
Do you provide malware removal?
Yes. If your site gets infected with malware, we’ll clean it. This is included in our managed hosting service. We don’t charge extra for security incident response.

Email Configuration

Can you host my email?
We recommend professional email services like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 rather than hosting email on web servers. Email delivery is complex and benefits from dedicated infrastructure purpose-built for that specific function.
Why use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 instead of web hosting email?
Email and web hosting have different technical requirements. Reliable email delivery depends on IP reputation management, advanced spam filtering, redundant delivery systems, and constant monitoring. Google and Microsoft maintain massive email-specific infrastructure and established sender reputations that ensure your messages reach inboxes consistently. Hosting email on a web server, even a high-quality dedicated VPS, adds complexity and potential deliverability challenges. We recommend keeping email and web hosting separate so both perform optimally.
How much does professional email cost?
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 pricing varies based on the plan and number of users. We’ll explain the options and help you choose what makes sense for your organization. We don’t mark up their pricing. We help with setup and configuration.
Will my email keep working during a site migration?
Yes. Email and website hosting are separate services. When we migrate your site, your email continues working without interruption. We coordinate DNS changes carefully to ensure nothing breaks.
Can you help set up email on my phone and computer?
Yes. We’ll help you configure email on all your devices and troubleshoot any delivery or access issues.

Site Migrations

Will my site go offline during migration?
No. We build everything on the new server first, test it thoroughly, then update DNS to point to the new location. Your site stays online throughout the entire process. Visitors don’t notice anything.
How long does a migration take?
Timeline depends on site size and complexity. A typical WordPress site takes 3-5 days from initial backup to final verification. Larger or more complex sites take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after analyzing your current site.
What if something breaks during migration?
We test everything thoroughly before making the DNS switch. We’ve migrated hundreds of sites over 25 years and we know how to avoid problems. If something does go wrong, we have complete backups and can revert immediately. Your site stays online.
Can you migrate sites that aren’t WordPress?
Yes, but WordPress is our specialty. If your site is built on another platform, we’ll evaluate whether migration is feasible. In some cases, a rebuild might be more practical than migration.
Will I lose any data during migration?
No. We perform complete backups and verify data integrity throughout the process. Database records, uploaded files, email configurations, DNS settings, everything transfers completely. We don’t cut corners.
What if I’m unhappy with my current host but worried about migration?
We understand the concern. Migration can feel risky, especially if your current host hasn’t been reliable. We’ve done this hundreds of times and we do it right. Pricing & Payment

How much do your services cost?
Managed hosting ranges from $110-550 monthly depending on your infrastructure needs. Website design, domain management, and other services are quoted based on project scope. We’re transparent about pricing. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or churches?
We work with many churches and nonprofits, and we understand budget constraints. Let’s have a conversation about your needs and we’ll work out pricing that makes sense for your organization.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, and other standard payment methods through our billing system. Invoices are sent monthly for recurring services. One-time projects are billed according to the agreed payment schedule.
Is there a setup fee?
Setup fees depend on the service. New hosting accounts and site migrations may include a setup fee to cover initial provisioning and configuration work. We’ll explain all costs upfront before you commit.
What’s your refund policy?
If you’re not satisfied with our service, let’s talk about what’s not working. We want to make it right. If we can’t resolve the issue, we’ll refund your most recent payment and help you transition smoothly to another provider.

How do I get started?
Contact us. We’ll have a conversation about what you need, explain how we work, and determine if we’re a good fit for each other. If we are, we’ll provide a detailed proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. No pressure, no hard sell.
Do you work with clients outside Louisiana?
Yes. While we’re based in New Orleans, we work with Korean organizations nationwide and internationally. Most of our client communication happens via email, phone, and video calls. Physical location doesn’t limit our ability to provide excellent service.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
Tell us what you’re trying to accomplish. Current website URL if you have one, what’s not working with your current situation, what you need from a hosting or design partner. The more context you provide, the better we can understand your needs and provide an accurate proposal.
How quickly can you get started?
Depends on our current workload and project complexity. Simple hosting setups can start within a few days. Website design projects are scheduled based on our availability and your timeline. We’ll give you realistic expectations about timing during our initial conversation.
