Founder, Korerium LLC

Michael’s background spans software development, data systems, and geospatial intelligence work where protecting sensitive information is critical. He founded Korerium to build privacy and security software with the same rigor, treating protection as a systems problem rather than an afterthought.

Mission

To build privacy and security software that puts full control of your data in your hands, without requiring technical expertise to understand or use it.

Vision

To be the privacy and security software company that proves protection doesn’t require complexity or compromise.

Built on Apple’s Own Foundations

Swift

The programming language every Korerium product is written in. Native, fast, and built for Apple platforms.

SwiftUI

Apple’s modern framework for building native Mac interfaces. Every screen you see in a Korerium app is built with SwiftUI.

AES-256

The encryption standard used by governments and financial institutions worldwide. VaultDrop uses it to protect your files locally.

Keychain

Apple’s secure credential storage system. Used to protect sensitive data on your device without ever leaving it.

ImageIO

Apple’s framework for reading and writing image files. Powers MetaClear’s metadata reading and stripping pipeline.

CryptoKit

Apple’s cryptography framework. Powers the offline license validation system across all Korerium products.

What We Don’t Do

We do not collect your data beyond what is needed to deliver your license. We do not sell subscriptions to features that should be standard. We do not build tools that require you to trust a server you cannot see. Your name and email are used once, to get your license key to you, and nothing more. If you want software that works entirely on your terms, you are in the right place.

About the Name

Korerium (kor-EER-ee-um) is a coined name built around a simple idea. The root draws from the concept of a core, something central, essential, and protected. The suffix mirrors the naming conventions of elements and compounds, suggesting something that is stable, precise, and fundamental by nature. Together the name reflects what the company is built to do: protect what is at the core of your digital life. Your files, your activity, your data. Not stored elsewhere. Not shared. Not compromised. Yours.
