Our software is built to protect your privacy. This policy outlines acceptable use of Korerium applications and the responsibilities that come with it.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules and restrictions that apply to your use of software and services provided by Korerium LLC (“Korerium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our software, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in termination of your license without refund.

2. Permitted Uses

Korerium software is designed for lawful personal and professional use. You may use our software to:

  • Remove metadata from files that you own or have the legal right to process
  • Clear digital trails and activity logs on your own device
  • Encrypt and protect files stored on your own device
  • Protect your personal privacy in your day to day digital activity
  • Process files for clients as part of your professional workflow
  • Comply with privacy regulations or organizational data handling requirements

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Korerium software to:

  • Process files that you do not own or do not have the legal right to modify
  • Facilitate fraud, deception, or misrepresentation of any kind
  • Remove metadata with the intent to conceal the origin of illegal content
  • Circumvent any law, regulation, or legal obligation
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Facilitate stalking, harassment, or harm to any individual
  • Remove metadata from evidence in any legal proceeding where preservation is required
  • Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law

4. Prohibited Technical Actions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of our software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on our software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on our software
  • Share, sell, sublicense, or distribute our software or your license key to any third party
  • Use our software in any automated pipeline or process without written permission from Korerium LLC
  • Attempt to circumvent the license validation system

5. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Korerium software complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Korerium does not monitor how you use our software and cannot be held responsible for your actions.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to terminate your license immediately and without refund if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy. We also reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in connection with any investigation of unlawful activity.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it to us at legal@korerium.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Your continued use of our software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
