VaultDrop

Encrypt it. Decrypt it. Shred it.
A password protects access to a file. Encryption protects the file itself. That is a meaningful difference. VaultDrop encrypts your files locally using AES-256, the same standard used by governments worldwide. No cloud. No third party. No exposure.

Three operations. Each one complete.

Encrypt

Drop any file type, enter a passphrase, and encrypt. The output is a .vdrop file that is completely unreadable without your passphrase.

Decrypt

Drop a .vdrop file, enter your passphrase, and restore the original file exactly as it was. Nothing changed, nothing lost.

Shred

Once encrypted, use VaultDrop’s secure shred to permanently destroy the original. Deleted does not mean gone. Shredded does.

AES-256 Encryption

The encryption standard used by governments and financial institutions worldwide. Applied locally on your Mac. No third party ever touches your data.

Passphrase Protection

Your passphrase is never stored anywhere, not even locally. Without it, the encrypted file cannot be opened by anyone on any device.

Proprietary .vdrop Format

Every encrypted file becomes a .vdrop file. It cannot be opened by any other application. Safe to store in the cloud, email, or copy to external drives.

Drop. Passphrase. Done.

01

Drop your files

Drag any file type onto VaultDrop. Documents, images, archives, executables. Any file type is supported without exception.
02

Set your passphrase

Enter a strong passphrase. Add an optional hint stored locally. Your passphrase is never saved anywhere by VaultDrop.
03

Encrypt

VaultDrop encrypts the file and saves a .vdrop file. Share it, store it, or send it with confidence knowing only your passphrase can open it.
04

Shred the original

Once encrypted, use VaultDrop’s secure shred to permanently destroy the original file. Deletion alone is not enough.

Any file you would not want anyone else to open.
